"3 Selections from "Poem of the Vampire"" is a sonic exploration of various stories of the Vampire. While we relegate these creatures to folklore, I have taken a slightly different view upon them.

Jesus told those who did not place their trust/faith in Him that they were in effect the walking dead, whitewashed sepulchers. They revel in their deeds in darkness, and they are children of the darkness. Destined for eternal death in utter darkness, away from the light, these are cursed children of the night who are under the spell of their Master whom they obey.

The One who created them still loves them and has provided a way for them to be transformed from the domain of darkness to His domain of light and life.

It is from this perspective that I wrote both poems and music.
