"Always Be a Good Boy" This is a musical portrait of an impressionable young boy who was mistreated and disdained by all but his mother who loved him very much and he her. His mother always told him, "be a good boy" and he always tried because he dearly loved his mother. But kindness towards the boy fleeted, and the world and it's own crushed him until one day the boy who only sought love and goodness, broke.

The day came when the boy died inside and became as those who destroyed him, while all the time he kept hearing his mother's voice in his conscious saying, "always be a good boy". The boy would never be the same, conflicted and always at war from within as he grew into a man. He died while in his youth, but a villain was born on that day in the city to the sons of the world.

This piece pays homage and was inspired from the Batman lore/TV series "Gotham" with this musical portrait of The Penguin.
